Young Adults Ministry
Know. Grow. Go.
We’re thrilled to announce the launch of a new Young Adults Ministry at St. Maurice Parish — a community for those ages 18 to 35 who are seeking to grow in faith, friendship, and purpose.
Whether you’re a university student, working professional, or just trying to figure out your next step in life, you’re invited to be part of something new — a space where faith meets real life, and where young adults can encourage one another in following Christ.
Our First Gathering
Join us for our kickoff evening on Saturday, October 25, at 7:00 p.m. in the Atrium, right after the 5:00 p.m. Mass.
The evening will include:
-
Praise & Worship — lifting our hearts together in song and prayer
-
Lectio Divina — reflecting on Scripture and listening for God’s voice
-
Fellowship — connecting with others over coffee, laughter, and conversation
It’s the perfect way to start the weekend — grounded in faith and surrounded by community.
Why Young Adults Ministry?
Life in your twenties and thirties can be full of transitions — new jobs, studies, relationships, questions, and decisions about the future. In the midst of it all, Christ invites us into a deeper relationship with him and with each other.
Our hope is to build a Christ-centred community where young adults can:
-
Encounter God through prayer and worship
-
Discover their gifts and calling
-
Grow through Scripture, conversation, and service
-
Belong to a vibrant, faith-filled family that supports one another
As Pope Francis reminds us:
“Young people are the now of God.”
He calls us to live our faith with courage and joy — not someday, but today.
