Prayer is nothing else than being on terms of friendship with God. - St. Teresa of Avila

Due to the pandemic, a number of ministries and activities have been suspended while others have changed the way they bring people together. Gathering for prayer has become difficult, but we are able to pray individually and as a Church - even if we cannot be in each other's presence, we are together in His heart when we pray.  Shared prayer is available through some organizations on-line.  Parish initiatives listed here show some of the activity underway. Questions or suggestions can be made to the contacts indicated or in general to deaconkevin@stmauriceparish.com.

Adoration
We pray in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament.

The Adoration Chapel is currently closed.  Although suspended during the current lockdown, once restrictions ease we hope to once again make adoration available Tuesday evenings (see below) and weekday mornings before Mass.

Tuesday Night Holy Hour

(Currently suspended during the lockdown)

Following the weekly Tuesday Mass at 7 p.m., there is a holy hour when the Blessed Sacrament is exposed and there is the opportunity to go to confession.  The evening ends with benediction.  All are welcome.

The intentions and petitions of parishoners are collected and presented in a small box at the foot of the altar.  To provide an intention or for more information, please contact
