(Please note that during the current Covid lockdown we are limited to 10 people for Mass)

There are many ways to be involved in ministry to support the liturgical celebrations at St. Maurice.  Due to the pandemic, a number of ministries and activities have been suspended or changed, and we are always adjusting to current protocols.  It takes a number of people to make the liturgies as rich as possible in whatever form it can happen. Those listed here show some of the ministries in which parishoners serve. Questions or suggestions can be made to the contacts indicated or in general to deaconkevin@stmauriceparish.com.

Altar Servers

The pandemic does not allow many persons in the sanctuary, so altar servers have been limited to one server to carry the cross and ring the bells - and that was prior to the latest lockdown.  We hope to invite more of our young servers back as restrictions ease.

A shortlist of sacristans are currently looking after the set-up for celebration of the Eucharist.

The Mass is a celebration in the real sense of the word. Music and singing are of the utmost importance in every liturgical celebration.

Although scaled back in the liturgies at present, the music ministry continues to provide music at Masses, and works on special projects for feasts.
